School Shooting in Memphis, Tennessee: 3 Students Injured, Suspect Arrested

Memphis, EL Sky News — A shocking school shooting occurred at Redwood High School, located in the heart of Memphis, Tennessee, at approximately 2:30 PM local time on November 7, 2025. The attack has left three students injured, all of whom were rushed to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect, a 17-year-old male student, was immediately apprehended by law enforcement officers and is currently in police custody.

According to the Memphis Police Department (MPD), the shooting began in a classroom during a lunch break. Witnesses described hearing multiple gunshots, which prompted teachers and students to take cover. The suspect, who had reportedly been struggling with personal issues, opened fire after an argument with one of his classmates.
