26-Year-Old Man Found Dead in 4WD Vehicle in Taman Mesra Indah

KLANG, El Sky News — A 26-year-old man was found dead inside a four-wheel-drive (4WD) vehicle in the residential area of Taman Mesra Indah, Klang, on Saturday night. Police have opened a murder investigation under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

Incident Details & Initial Discovery

According to the police, an emergency call was received by the Klang Selatan District Police Headquarters Operations Room at around 8:35 p.m., alerting officers to a possible shooting involving a man found unconscious in the driver’s seat of a parked vehicle.

Forensic units and the K9 team were deployed to the scene shortly after the report was made.

Video clips circulating on social media showed the victim motionless in the driver’s seat. A preliminary forensic assessment confirmed that the victim is believed to have been shot five times at close range, with gunshot wounds found on his chest and upper body.

Victim’s Background & Police Investigation

Selangor Police Chief Datuk Shazeli Kahar revealed that the victim had three prior drug-related criminal records under Sections 15 and 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. However, police emphasized that no arrests have been made so far, and the motive behind the shooting remains under investigation.

Investigators are examining multiple angles including the possibility of links to drug networks, organized crime groups, or personal disputes though police stressed that no conclusions have been drawn at this stage. Authorities also clarified that there is currently no evidence connecting this case to a separate fatal shooting at a petrol station in Klang earlier this month.
