The tournament officially opened on January 9, 2026, with a ceremony that industry experts are calling a “cultural and technological masterpiece.” Held in the vibrant Batavia PIK area and broadcast globally, the opening featured several groundbreaking elements:

The competition is currently underway with the Swiss Stage at the MPL Arena (XO Hall) in West Jakarta, where 16 teams are battling for a spot in the playoffs. The intensity is expected to peak during the Knockout Stage and Grand Finals, which will take over the Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan from January 21 to 25.
With a total prize pool of $1,000,000 USD, the M7 World Championship represents the pinnacle of mobile gaming. Fans are particularly eager to see if local favorites like ONIC ID or Alter Ego can break the dominance of the Philippines on home soil.
