Kuala Lumpur The race for the Premier League title is heating up as the season enters its decisive stage, with Arsenal currently holding a strong advantage over defending champions Manchester City.
Arsenal extended their lead at the top of the table to seven points after securing a crucial 1–0 victory away at Brighton. Meanwhile, Manchester City dropped valuable points after being held to a 2–2 draw against Nottingham Forest, despite taking the lead twice during the match.
Although Arsenal sit comfortably at the summit, the title race remains far from decided. City still have a game in hand, which could significantly reduce the gap if Pep Guardiola’s side manages to secure a win.
A major turning point in the title battle could arrive in mid-April, when Arsenal travel to the Etihad Stadium to face Manchester City in what could be the most decisive match of the season.
Remaining Fixtures Could Decide the Title
Arsenal’s remaining schedule appears relatively favorable. Only three of their final eight matches will be away from home, and just one of those fixtures is outside London — the clash against Manchester City.

City’s remaining fixtures include matches against West Ham, Chelsea, Arsenal, Burnley, Everton, Brentford, Bournemouth, and Aston Villa.

Despite Arsenal’s seven-point lead, the race is still alive. Manchester City’s game in hand and the upcoming head-to-head clash between the two sides mean the title could still swing either way.
With only a handful of matches left, every result could prove decisive in determining who will lift the Premier League trophy at the end of the season.
For Arsenal, it could mark their first league title in more than two decades, while Manchester City are aiming to continue their recent dominance in English football.
