Kuala Lumpur- have been handed a challenging draw in the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League Elite 2025–26, where they will face either Al-Ahli Saudi FC or Al-Duhail SC next month.
The Malaysian champions secured their place in the last eight and will now await the outcome of the West Asia Round of 16 clash between the Saudi giants and the Qatari side. The winner of that tie will advance to meet JDT in a high-stakes quarter-final showdown.
The decisive Round of 16 match involving Al-Ahli and Al-Duhail is scheduled to take place on April 13 or 14, following a postponement due to regional circumstances in West Asia.
All quarter-final matches will be played in a centralized format in Jeddah between April 16 and 18, 2026, as part of the tournament’s final stages.
JDT, widely regarded as Southeast Asia’s strongest club, will be aiming to continue their historic run in Asia’s premier club competition. However, they face a daunting task against either the defending champions Al-Ahli or a strong Al-Duhail side, both known for their depth and international experience.
