KUALA LUMPUR, March 31 — The latest generation of the 2026 Subaru Crosstrek has been previewed in Malaysia, giving local buyers an early look at Subaru’s newest compact crossover ahead of its expected market launch in the coming months. The model showcased is the 2.0i-S EyeSight variant, which is expected to be offered as a fully imported (CBU) unit from Japan when it officially goes on sale.

The Crosstrek, which previously carried the Subaru XV nameplate in many markets, is essentially a ruggedised version of the Impreza hatchback, combining passenger-car comfort with SUV-inspired styling and increased ride height.
