Real Madrid Beat Real Oviedo 2-0 as Jude Bellingham Seals Victory at the Bernabeu

Kuala Lumpur — Real Madrid returned to winning ways after defeating Real Oviedo 2-0 in a LaLiga match at the Santiago Bernabeu Los Blancos claimed all three points through goals from Gonzalo Garcia in the 44th minute and Jude Bellingham in the 80th minute.

The victory was an important response from Real Madrid after recent pressure, including their El Clasico defeat and the fading hopes of catching Barcelona in the LaLiga title race. Although playing in front of their home supporters, Madrid did not have an easy start and had to work hard to break down Real Oviedo’s defence.

The opening goal arrived just before half-time when Gonzalo Garcia took advantage of a situation inside Oviedo’s defensive area to give Madrid a 1-0 lead. The goal changed the rhythm of the match and allowed Real Madrid to control the game better in the second half.

Kylian Mbappe also made his return after being sidelined with a hamstring injury. However, the French forward received whistles from some sections of the Madrid supporters when he came on in the 69th minute. Despite that reaction, Mbappe continued to look for opportunities and tried to contribute to the team’s attacking play.

Jude Bellingham then sealed the win for Real Madrid with a second goal in the 80th minute. His finish made it 2-0 and confirmed a comfortable victory for the home side.

Statistically, Real Madrid dominated the match with 63 percent possession and seven shots on target, while Real Oviedo managed only one effort on target. However, Oviedo still showed resistance through several counter-attacks and set-piece opportunities.

With this result, Real Madrid remain second in the LaLiga standings with 80 points from 36 matches. They are still behind league leaders Barcelona, while Real Oviedo continue to struggle at the bottom of the table with 29 points.
