Arsenal Crowned EPL Champions – Ending 22-Year Drought!

Kuala Lumpur – Arsenal Football Club has finally ended their 22-year wait for the Premier League title after being crowned champions for the 2025/2026 season.

The title was confirmed after Manchester City could only manage a 1-1 draw against Bournemouth on 20 May 2026. At that point, Arsenal led with 82 points compared to City’s 78, with one match remaining that their closest rivals could not catch up on.

The Gunners then wrapped up the season with a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on the final day, allowing them the chance to lift the Premier League trophy in front of their fans.

Arsenal’s Championship Stats:

  • Final Points: 85 (26 wins, 7 draws, 5 losses)
  • Goal Difference: +44
  • This is Arsenal’s 4th Premier League title and their 14th English league title overall.

Under the guidance of Mikel Arteta, Arsenal displayed remarkable consistency throughout the season. They overcame injury challenges and intense pressure from Manchester City, who had dominated the league in recent years.

Arsenal fans worldwide, including those in Malaysia and Indonesia, celebrated the victory with great emotion. Many had been waiting since the ‘Invincibles’ era under Arsene Wenger in the 2003/04 season.

Mikel Arteta, who faced heavy criticism in the early years of his management, is now a hero. He has successfully rebuilt a young, dynamic, and determined squad.

Congratulations to Arsenal! A new era has begun at the Emirates Stadium. The North London club is back on top of English football. 🏆🔴⚪
