In a statement to the media, Sapawi Johnson firmly denied the accusations that have been circulating across social media and several entertainment portals.
“I completely deny it. I have all the necessary documents, receipts, and communication records to prove my innocence. The claim that I ran off with the car sale money is pure slander,” he stressed.
Sapawi alleges that the issue was intentionally amplified by individuals who are jealous or harbor personal motives to see him “fall” in the business arena. He also expressed disappointment that his relationship with the actress — whom he once regarded as family — has turned sour due to this financial dispute.

Although the actress involved has not been fully identified, rumors suggest that the amount in question is substantial and linked to a premium vehicle.
Sapawi is currently seeking legal advice and has not ruled out taking legal action against those spreading false claims and tarnishing his name.
“I urge the public not to believe a one-sided story so easily. I will reveal my evidence soon. I have the right to defend myself from becoming a victim of this smear campaign,” he added.
