Adira Admits Leaving Datuk Red by the Highway, Stresses There Was a Reason

Petaling Jaya, El Sky News – Malaysian singer Siti Adira Suhaimi, popularly known as Adira, has admitted that she once left her ex-husband, Datuk Red (Datuk Seri Adnan Abu), by the highway. She emphasized that the action was not random but due to specific reasons known only to the two of them.

Adira’s Statement

During a press conference for the launch of her new single “Cermin Memori”, Adira clarified that the location where she left Datuk Red was near a petrol station, not in the middle of an isolated highway.

“I did what I did for reasons only we understand. I prefer not to disclose them publicly as it involves privacy and feelings of many people,” Adira said, according to reports.

She also stated that she did not want the incident to cause further controversy. Moving forward, all communication regarding her ex-husband would be handled by her elder sister, Emma Suhaimi.

Datuk Red’s Response

Datuk Red confirmed the incident occurred. In a statement to the media, he said:

“At that time, I was confused. I apologize to everyone for the incident and do not want this conflict to continue. My focus now is on my children and work.”
