Man Shot Dead in SUV in South Klang, Motive Remains a Mystery

KLANG, El Sky News – The tranquil atmosphere of Taman Mesra Indah, Klang, was shattered by a shooting incident that claimed the life of a local man on Saturday night, November 29.

The victim, whose further details have not yet been identified, was found lifeless in the driver’s seat of an all-wheel-drive vehicle (SUV). This violent incident was reported to the South Klang District Police Headquarters (IPD) Control Centre around 8:35 PM.

Selangor Police Chief, Datuk Shazeli Kahar, confirmed the incident in an official statement. According to him, an immediate investigation has been launched under Section 302 of the Penal Code (Murder).

“As of now, our team is actively conducting investigations to ascertain the real motive behind this cruel incident,” he explained, while advising the public against making any speculations that could interfere with the investigation process.

Victim’s Family Arrives at the Scene

Several media reports also mentioned that a poignant atmosphere enveloped the crime scene when a woman, believed to be the victim’s mother, arrived and was seen in a state of distress and unable to hold back her grief upon being informed of her son’s fate.

Videos and photos that went viral on social media shortly after the incident showed the victim’s vehicle surrounded by police yellow tape as forensic personnel conducted a meticulous examination of the location.

Police Appeal to the Public

To ensure justice for the victim, the Selangor Police have made an open appeal to any individual who witnessed or has information related to the shooting incident in the Taman Mesra Indah area that night to come forward and cooperate.
