Kasuma Satria Highlights Preventive Culture at Proton Men’s Health Day 2025

Tanjung Malim, El Sky News — Proton held its annual Proton Men’s Health Day 2025 at the PONSB Admin Building lobby on 3 December 2025, gathering employees for a full-day programme dedicated to physical and mental well-being. The event featured health seminars by invited doctors, wellness screenings, and various health booths offering complimentary services for all Proton employees.

Organised in conjunction with the global Men’s Day celebration, the initiative underscores Proton’s commitment to building a strong wellness culture within the organisation. According to Proton CHRO, Kasuma Satria, the event reflects Proton’s responsibility to maintain a healthy and protected workforce. “We wanted to celebrate Men’s Day for all our employees, and for us, health and safety must always be a priority,” he said. Kasuma added that Proton views employee well-being as essential to long-term organisational strength, emphasizing that “health is wealth, and we want our people to be healthy not just physically, but also mentally.”

With around 8,000 employees, Kasuma highlighted that preventive care must remain the foundation of Proton’s HR and workforce development strategy. He explained that men often prioritize work and family over their own well-being. “Normally, men focus on others—on their family and their job—and less on themselves,” he said. This is why Proton continues encouraging employees to practice self-care. “Take care of yourself first before you can take care of others.”

The event’s screenings and health booths were organised in collaboration with professional healthcare partners. Kasuma stressed that Proton believes in a partnership-driven approach to wellness.“We always collaborate with our partners for the best of our employees,” he shared, noting that expert support ensures the highest-quality preventive care for Proton staff.

Kasuma also reinforced the company’s message about the importance of proactive health management. “The important thing is preventive. Curing is number two,” he emphasized. He also highlighted the economic value of maintaining health early, adding: “Money is nothing compared to health. So it’s better to spend on prevention now before sickness happens.”

In his closing message, Kasuma delivered a heartfelt reminder to all Proton employees. “To all Proton people, remember that you are important,” he said. “You have to take care of yourself—not just for your family, but for the country. You are the future.”

The 2025 edition of Proton Men’s Health Day strengthens Proton’s commitment to fostering a preventive, supportive, and health-conscious workplace environment—one that empowers employees to prioritize well-being for themselves and their loved ones. (Tudneg Navi)
