This alarming incident was reported to have occurred at a residential building in Barangay Guizo, Mandaue City, on Wednesday afternoon, December 10.

“We were surprised at how calm she was, even as the fire was escalating. She just wanted to make sure her ‘children’ (dogs) were safe before she thought about herself,” said a firefighter involved in the operation.
