Historic Victory: Hael Husaini Crowned Popular Male Singer at ABPBH 37

KUALA LUMPUR, El Sky News – After a nail-biting wait of several years, the hugely talented artist, Hael Husaini, finally succeeded in carving his personal history when he was crowned Popular Male Singer at the grand finale of the 37th Anugerah Bintang Popular Berita Harian (ABPBH) last night.

The victory, which was greeted with thunderous cheers by fans at the Dewan Merdeka, World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL), was not just an ordinary trophy, but the end of a record of four previous nominations without a win in this prestigious category.

Hael, whose real name is Hal Husaini Razmi, 38, was previously nominated for the same category in the 31st, 33rd, 35th, and 36th editions. Thus, the moment his name was announced as the winner at ABPBH 37 was an emotional one, simultaneously proving the solid and consistent support of his loyal fans, the ‘Haelers.’

In his brief but meaningful acceptance speech, Hael expressed immense gratitude and thanks to his fans, who have been the backbone of his career for nearly two decades in the local arts scene.

“My heartfelt thanks to everyone who voted, who supported me from the first day I became a singer and composer. This victory belongs to you. It serves as an encouragement for me to continue to present the best work,” he said.

Hael’s dominance in the Popular Male Singer category was a fierce competition, as he managed to defeat four other popular figures who also displayed excellent performance throughout the year, namely Amir Masdi, Haqiem Rusli, Khai Bahar, and Naqiu.

This win clearly further solidifies Hael Husaini’s position as one of the most influential and popular artists in the contemporary Malaysian music industry.
