Toyota Gazoo Racing Malaysia Enters 2026 Thailand Super Series with GR Supra GT4 Evo2

KUALA LUMPUR / March 16, 2026 — Toyota Gazoo Racing Malaysia has officially launched its motorsport racing outfit to contest the 2026 Thailand Super Series (TSS) in the GT4 category, fielding a pair of Toyota GR Supra GT4 Evo2 race cars in Asia’s competitive production‑based GT championship.

The announcement was made by UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT), which confirmed that the team will enter the full season campaign in the GT4 class, where it will face established competitors such as the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport, Mercedes‑AMG GT4, and Aston Martin Vantage GT4 on the grid. In addition to TGR Racing Malaysia’s own entries, the field this year will feature multiple GR Supra GT4 Evo2 cars entered by other teams, highlighting the model’s growing presence in the series’ GT4 category.

The decision to step into the Thailand Super Series reflects Toyota’s commitment to elevating its motorsport footprint beyond domestic racing in Malaysia and tapping into the broader Southeast Asian racing scene.
