KUALA LUMPUR, April 1 — The Malaysian Meteorological Department has issued a thunderstorm warning for several regions across Malaysia today, including Cameron Highlands, Selangor, and the federal capital Kuala Lumpur, as weather authorities forecast heavy rainfall, lightning activity, and strong winds in multiple areas.

Urban centers like Kuala Lumpur and nearby districts in Selangor may also experience traffic congestion as heavy rainfall typically slows down commuter movement across major highways.
