Jakarta, El Sky News – A 12-year-old boy identified by his initials MH became a victim of robbery and assault in the Cilandak area, South Jakarta. The incident occurred after two unidentified men riding a green motorbike approached the victim and asked for his mobile phone.
According to reports, the suspects took the boy to Jalan H. Abu, Cipete Selatan, Cilandak, where one of the perpetrators allegedly struck him on the left cheek and threatened him not to scream. The assailants then left the victim at the scene.
The boy was later found by a mosque caretaker (marbot), who helped him reach the local neighborhood head (Ketua RW) before the case was reported to the Cilandak Police.
Police confirmed they are investigating the case and searching for the two male suspects responsible for the robbery and physical assault.
