“Question,” co-produced by Justin Seow, Kuizz, Aziz Harun, and the members of DOLLA, blends modern pop sensibilities with strong lyrical storytelling.

“Yes, the song is about confronting a cheating partner, but at its core it’s about making peace with your own feelings—admitting that you’re hurt and sad. That’s not a weakness; that’s real strength,” Tabby said.
Music Video Controversy and Label Response
Despite the warm reception to the song, the music video (MV) for “Question”—featuring a retro diner concept and dynamic choreography from Thailand—sparked heated debate. Many viewers argued that the group’s styling and dance sequences were too provocative and clashed with Malaysian cultural norms.
The controversy intensified to the point where religious authorities expressed concerns.
In response, and out of respect for cultural values, religious sensitivities, and public sentiment, Universal Music Malaysia (UMM) made the decision to remove the “Question” MV from all digital platforms.
Angel, speaking on behalf of DOLLA, said the group was shocked and saddened after putting significant effort into the production, but they ultimately respected UMM’s decision in the interest of maintaining harmony.
A More Mature Era and Regional Ambitions
Despite the controversy, DOLLA remains unstoppable. The group is now focused on expanding their presence across Southeast Asia, with plans to release their full-length album in 2026.
