Vengeance Main Motive in Seremban Shooting Case, Two Suspects Arrested

SEREMBAN, El Sky News – The mystery surrounding the shooting case that claimed one life and injured another on Jalan Rasah, Seremban, last Wednesday (December 10) has finally been solved after the police successfully detained two main suspects. The motive for this brutal murder is suspected to be rooted in personal vengeance.

Negeri Sembilan Police Chief, Datuk Seri Ahmad Ridhuan, confirmed the arrest of two men, both in their 40s, in the Seremban area during a special operation launched shortly after the incident.

“During the arrests, our team also seized a pistol believed to have been used in the shooting incident. Initial investigations indicate the motive for the incident was old grudges involving criminal activities,” he stated in a press conference this morning.

The deceased victim, identified as S. Kumar, 35, was confirmed dead at the scene, while his friend, M. Suresh, 38, is reported to be in critical condition at Tuanku Ja’afar Hospital (HTJ).

Datuk Seri Ahmad Ridhuan added that a record check found that Suresh, who was severely injured in the shooting, had ties to violent criminal cases, including a machete attack case that occurred several years prior.

“We are investigating whether this shooting incident is retaliation or a continuation of past criminal conflicts. The public is advised not to make any speculations and to give space to the police to conduct a comprehensive investigation under Section 302 of the Penal Code,” he stressed.
