Tragedy Amidst Trash: Baby’s Body Found in Waste Truck in Bukit Jalil, Investigation into Infant Abandonment Launched

KUALA LUMPUR, El Sky News – The capital city is once again shocked by a heartbreaking discovery of a baby’s body, after enforcement officers found the innocent remains among a pile of rubbish in a trash truck in the Bukit Jalil area yesterday morning.

The tragic discovery is now being investigated as a serious case of infant abandonment, sparking outrage and questions among the public.

Dismaying Condition of the Infant’s Body

Sources reported that the unfortunate baby’s body was found nestled among domestic waste after the garbage truck was stopped for a routine inspection. It is understood that the condition of the remains was extremely distressing, covered in dirt and foul liquid from the rubbish.

Even more heartbreaking, the infant was reportedly found in a fetal position, leading to speculation that the baby might have just been born before being cruelly abandoned.

PDRM Launches Comprehensive Investigation

The relevant District Police Chief (KPD), when contacted, confirmed the discovery and announced that a detailed investigation was immediately launched.

“The preliminary investigation classifies this case under the relevant Penal Code sections concerning the offense of infant abandonment. The forensics team is actively conducting examinations to determine the cause of death and the age of the baby,” he stated in a brief press release.

The investigating team is currently scrutinizing closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage along the route of the garbage truck, especially in the residential and commercial areas it passed through before the body was found.

Appeal to the Public

The police are also appealing to the public who have any information related to this case, or who know of any individual who has recently given birth and is acting suspiciously, to come forward and assist the investigation.

“Public cooperation is vital to bring this inhumane perpetrator to justice,” the KPD added.

The baby’s body has been sent to a nearby hospital for an autopsy. The case continues to be a serious focus of the authorities in an effort to curb the worrying crime of infant abandonment.
