Hanoi Food & Culture Festival 2025 Showcases Vietnam’s Culinary Heritage

Hanoi, Vietnam, El Sky News — Hanoi officially opened the Hanoi Food & Culture Festival 2025 on December 19, 2025, celebrating Vietnam’s culinary traditions and modern creativity. The festival runs until December 21, 2025 at Thong Nhat Park, under the theme “Hanoi A Culinary Journey Connecting Creativity.”

The festival brings together over 60 exhibition areas, featuring signature dishes such as Pho Hanoi, Phu Thuong sticky rice, West Lake lotus tea, and live demonstrations of traditional foods like Banh Chung and cold snail noodle soup.

Culinary Heritage Meets Innovation

Organizers emphasized the festival’s goal to preserve Vietnam’s gastronomic heritage while introducing innovative culinary experiences. A highlight of the festival was the official announcement of Cha Ca La Vong a traditional Hanoi grilled fish dish being recognized as national intangible cultural heritage. The dish has been passed down through six generations of the Doan family on Hang Son Street.
