Andy Teh Denies Romantic Relationship with Chacha Maembong — Says They Are Just Getting to Know Each Other

KUALA LUMPUR, El Sky News — Actor Andy Teh, 41, has denied rumors of a romantic relationship with actress Chacha Maembong, despite circulating speculation. Andy stated that their relationship is still in the getting-to-know-each-other phase and they are just friends.

Clarification on Relationship Status

At a press conference for the launch of the film Black Ops at Wisma Ekran, Andy clarified that there is no official romantic relationship between him and Chacha. He emphasized that they are currently friends, and any potential future development would be considered later.

“For now, we are friends. We are still getting to know each other. If fate leads to a more serious relationship, that’s something we cannot predict, but currently there’s no official announcement,” Andy said.

Focus on Careers and Privacy

Andy also mentioned that both he and Chacha are focusing on their careers and prefer to keep personal matters private. Sharing too much too early, he said, could lead to misinterpretation, so they are being cautious.  Chacha, according to Andy, has the qualities of a woman he admires, but this does not automatically mean they are in a romantic relationship.
