Girl in Front Seat Dies in Fatal Crash After PLUS Emergency Patrol Vehicle Collides With Honda CR-V on Highway to Seremban

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 23, 2026 — A young girl has died after a fatal collision involving a PLUS emergency patrol vehicle and a Honda CR-V on the North–South Expressway, authorities confirmed on Monday.

The tragic incident occurred in the direction of Seremban, where the Honda CR-V was reported to have been travelling with several occupants, including the girl riding in the front passenger seat.

According to initial police reports, a PLUS emergency patrol truck — part of the highway’s roadside assistance fleet — was on duty responding to an earlier call when it came into contact with the Honda CR-V. The collision took place in a high-speed traffic zone, prompting urgent deployment of rescue teams and emergency medical services.

Upon arrival at the scene, first responders found the Honda CR-V badly damaged from the force of the impact. The young girl in the front seat suffered critical injuries, and despite immediate medical attention, she was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Other occupants of the Honda CR-V were reportedly injured and transported to nearby medical facilities for treatment. Authorities have not yet released details on their current conditions.

The driver and crew of the PLUS emergency patrol vehicle were also assessed for injuries, though initial information suggests they were not seriously harmed.
