Mother and Two Children Killed After Perodua Aruz Skids in Fatal Crash Near Dungun

DUNGUN, March 24 — A mother and her two children were killed in a tragic road accident after the Perodua Aruz they were travelling in skidded and crashed near Dungun, Terengganu.According to authorities, the fatal accident also left two other passengers injured, who were later rushed to a nearby medical facility for treatment. The incident occurred along Jalan Jerangau–Jabor near Felda Jerangau, where the vehicle is believed to have lost control before skidding off the road. The crash reportedly happened in the evening, causing severe injuries to several occupants inside the vehicle. Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after the accident and confirmed that the woman and two of her children died due to serious injuries sustained during the crash. Their bodies were later transported to the Dungun Hospital forensic unit for further procedures. Meanwhile, the two injured victims were taken to a nearby clinic and hospital for medical treatment.Authorities are still working to determine the exact cause of the crash, while investigations into the incident are ongoing.Fatal road accidents remain a major concern in Malaysia, especially on long-distance routes where factors such as weather, road conditions, and driver control can contribute to serious incidents.
