KUALA LUMPUR,June, 2026 – The dissolution process for the Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly has been completed at the Election Commission (EC) level after the commission confirmed that it had received official notification on the matter.

Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly Speaker Datuk M. K. Ibrahim Abd. Rahman said he had submitted the dissolution notice to the EC, allowing the commission to take the necessary follow-up action.

The EC had earlier confirmed that it had received the official notification from the Speaker regarding the dissolution of the Negeri Sembilan assembly. EC secretary Datuk Khairul Shahril Idrus said the notice was received on June 5, 2026.

Aminuddin said the dissolution was carried out after he received the consent of the Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir, following an audience at 8.30pm on June 4.
