KUALA LUMPUR,June,2026 – Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim held an official meeting with Tan Sri Yohei Sasakawa, Chairman of the Sasakawa Peace Foundation, in Tokyo, Japan, during the first day of his working visit to the country.
The meeting was described as an important engagement between Anwar and Sasakawa, whom the Prime Minister referred to as an old friend. Their discussion focused on strengthening cooperation in the field of peace, while also exchanging views on several current international developments.
