Aston Martin Unveils Dreadnought, a V12 Tactical SUV Built Exclusively for Call of Duty

KUALA LUMPUR, JULY 2026 – Aston Martin has unveiled the Dreadnought, a bespoke tactical SUV developed exclusively for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and Call of Duty: Warzone. Unlike the company’s road-going sports cars, the Dreadnought is primarily a digital vehicle created for use inside the gaming universe.

The vehicle was developed through a collaboration between Aston Martin’s design team and Infinity Ward, the studio behind Modern Warfare 4. Both teams worked together on its concept, vehicle geometry, animation, virtual physics, propulsion and gameplay performance.

Designed as an aggressive all-wheel-drive machine, the Dreadnought combines a fictional V12 powertrain with supercar-level performance. Its tactical specifications include military-grade armour plating, advanced protection technologies and adaptive combat-zone intelligence systems designed for intense in-game environments.

Despite its battle-ready appearance, the concept retains several elements associated with Aston Martin’s ultra-luxury identity. These include herringbone-weave carbon-fibre surfaces, an Oxford Tan leather dashboard and door details, as well as a metallic gold gear lever.

Its exterior features an elevated, muscular body designed for difficult terrain and combat situations. The armoured structure is intended to absorb heavy incoming fire, while the vehicle’s traction, speed and momentum allow players to cross contested areas, escape enemies or break through defensive positions.

The Dreadnought name reflects the vehicle’s military-inspired character. It also recalls HMS Dreadnought, the revolutionary early 20th-century British warship whose design helped define a new generation of naval battleships.

Aston Martin Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman said the project gave the design team an opportunity to redefine what an Aston Martin could become when imagination was the primary limitation. Although the Dreadnought was created for a virtual world, the designers approached it as though it needed to operate convincingly in real environments.

The digital SUV will appear at selected locations in the DMZ environment of Modern Warfare 4 and in Call of Duty: Warzone. Players will be able to locate and drive the vehicle when the new game launches globally on October 23, 2026.

While the Dreadnought is not planned as a road-legal production vehicle, fans were given the opportunity to see a full-size physical interpretation at Fanatics Fest in New York before its in-game debut.

The collaboration demonstrates how automotive manufacturers are increasingly using video games as platforms for design experimentation and brand engagement. By entering the Call of Duty universe, Aston Martin is introducing its performance and luxury identity to a wider generation of digital automotive enthusiasts.
