Kenangan Coffee Eyes IPO as Coffee Chain Posts Strong Growth

Kuala Lumpur, El Sky News— Indonesia’s fast‑growing coffee startup Kopi Kenangan, known for its popular grab‑and‑go cafes and rapid regional expansion, is strengthening preparations to go public with an initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

The parent company PT Bumi Berkah Boga, which operates the Kopi Kenangan brand, has signaled its readiness for a stock market debut after reporting solid financial results, including posting its first annual net profit since inception.

In recent comments, Group CEO Edward Tirtanata highlighted that the company is progressing toward IPO readiness following a 45% revenue growth in 2025 and ongoing efforts to improve financial transparency and corporate governance — key prerequisites for a public listing.

Kopi Kenangan’s public listing ambitions reflect the company’s broader strategy of capturing more capital to support its aggressive expansion plan, particularly in international markets where it’s already establishing a presence.

While no exact timeline has been confirmed, company executives reiterated that the IPO is a corporate priority once the necessary regulatory and administrative requirements are met.

Industry analysts say Kopi Kenangan’s IPO plan comes at a time when Indonesian capital markets are gradually opening up to more startup listings, despite an uneven IPO pipeline across sectors.
